At 8:19 on the morning of the 9th of June, she came to us ready for the world that she was now a part. Weighing in at 10 pounds 3.5 ounces and measuring a decently long 22 inches, Jillian Laine was adorned with a full head of hair and a set of lungs that would make a bullhorn jealous.
Mother and daughter are now happily home and resting. The siblings are restless with elation over their new sister and the homecoming of mom and dad. Father is enjoying the freedom of boxers again, and wondering if there is such a thing as holding the baby too much.
We thank all of you who came to visit and those who wished they could have. Many thanks to the talented and caring staff at the Stillwater Medical Center, except for whomever is task with keeping the soda machine stocked.
